On Saturday, hacking crew OurMine defaced the Twitter account of Jimmy Wales, Wikipedia co-founder and current president of Wikia, a free wiki hosting platform. OurMine has managed to gain access to Wales Twitter account, where they sent out two tweets. The first read "RIP Jimmy Wales 1966 -- 2016 #RIPJimmyWales." The second came in 14 minutes later and read "I confirm that Wikipedia is all likes // OurMine Team is the true [REDACTED LINK leading to their website]." The tweets were removed after a few hours, and on Sunday, the next day, Wales tweeted "I'm (obviously) OK, and tweeting back to normal." OurMine are today's top defacers OurMine has made a name for itself after hacking several celebrity social media accounts but recently has shifted their focus on Silicon Valley CEOs.
