Authy: Is it better to keep backups turned off/disabled until you have the need to add a new device?

RSS Kategorie Pfeil IT Security Nachrichten vom | Quelle: reddit.com Direktlink öffnen

The reason i am asking is because i have it set up on 2 devices already so that i have a backup if one gets broken or lost.

In terms of security, would having backups disabled be a better idea if i don’t really need them often. And if i ever need to add a new device i could enable them and add the device, sync the tokens and then disable backups again?
