Today, November 2, 2016, Douglas DeMaio from the openSUSE project announced the release and immediate availability for download of the second Release Candidate of the upcoming openSUSE Leap 42.2 operating system. openSUSE Leap 42.2 has been in development for the past six months, during which it received three Alphas and three Betas, as well as two Release Candidate (RC) builds. openSUSE Leap 42.2 RC2 is the last step before the GNU/Linux distribution hits the streets in approximately two weeks from today, on November 16, 2016.
