Gears 5 and XCOM collide. What you need to know The Game Awards 2019 took place in California today. A lot of new games were revealed at the event. Gears Tactics, the XCOM-like tactical shooter, got an April 2020 release date. The game is coming to Xbox Game Pass on PC and grants bonuses. Gears Tactics is the fast-paced, turn-based strategy game from one of the most acclaimed video game franchises. Outnumbered and fighting for survival, recruit and command your squad to hunt down an evil mastermind who makes monsters. The game is a lot like XCOM where you have to manage various aspects of your team. According to Microsoft, Gears Tactics is coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC, Steam, and Windows 10 on April 28, 2020. No word was given if it's hitting Xbox One later. Who knows, it may even come to Xbox Series X. The trailer is spectacular to say the least.
