Windscribe VPN internet issue

I've seen this twice, once on my macbook pro and on Windows PC. it happens intermittently but with Windscribe opened or connected, no internet connection. the workaround is to exit out o the app.

How i've discovered this? going into safe mode internet access restored but when logging into my MBP it didn't work. not even pinging outside by IP.
