I have really weird wifi chipset (rtl8812au), drivers are terrible mostly terrible and when i try install them on different distros, community is suggesting me to install different drivers on different distros.
when i want to install debian, the suggest me this one When i want to install on Ubuntu, Ubuntu Community suggest me this to install And to the rest of distros they want me this to install
Why is that? Why there is no universal driver, distros have litterally the same kernel. Ok, maybe they have different kernel versions but i install this via dkms, dkms should compile it by himself
ps: sorry if i made any mistake, but i'm not native speaker and i would be thankful if you will send me what i made wrong. Thank you!
