Public Key vs Private Key

Hello all,

I have the Sec+ scheduled for this week and it seems like I am having some last minute confusion on this simple topic.

My Question is simple:

Which does the encryption and which does the decryption, Private key or Public Key? Or can they both do encryption and decryption?

I searched videos all over and read forums online but I think I'm overthinking it.
