HTTPS everywhere test: does it matter

on another post i got curious on exactly how much the addon HTTPS everywhere matters.

So I would like to ask for anybody that has experince the following sites

- Site was http before the plugin but was https automatically after https everywhere was installed

- Site was http before the plugin but requires special setup in https everywhere to go to https mode
