This Is the New Windows 10 Start Menu

Now that Windows 10X is a real thing, many want Microsoft to bring several of its features to the full version of Windows 10 as well, including the brand-new Start menu that no longer uses live tiles.

While Microsoft doesn’t seem to be willing to go that far, or at least, not yet, a teaser that the company presented during a Windows Insider podcast a few hours ago reveals an updated Start menu design that features a more polished look in the place where live tiles usually are.

Microsoft’s not killing off live tiles, so what it does is actually remove the color blocks that these use in the Start menu for a more refined appearance overall.

It’s not necessarily a major change, but it does simplify the Start menu and allow apps to blend into the overall design in a more seamless way.
