Nagios up to 4.2.x Symbolic Link daemon-init.in privilege escalation

A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Nagios up to 4.2.x (Log Management Software). This vulnerability affects some unknown processing of the file daemon-init.in of the component Symbolic Link Handler. Upgrading eliminates this vulnerability. A possible mitigation has been published even before and not after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
