Microsoft's streaming service Mixer launched a new education category, adding a mix of learning to a service that's largely known for game streaming. The category will play host to lessons and classes aimed at the Mixer community. It can also act as an outlet for remote learning when teachers need alternative ways to reach their students.
The move comes as more students are engaged in remote learning due to school closures because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
