Hello, I have installed Linux Ubuntu on my acer chromebook via doing some dirty work in developer mode. Problem is, whenever I switch back into my chrome OS mode, every function is significantly slower than what it was before. PDFs now take 5 minutes to download instead of 1 minute at most. During my Zoom meetings for class, the audio and video is always choppy and extremely glitchy, and I always get a “high CPU” message. I’ve switched my chromebook back into Stable mode, but I’m still able to access Linux Ubuntu through some shortcut. Is there any way I can improve the quality of chrome OS while keeping my shortcut to Linux intact?
