Samsung Intends to Ship 20 Million Galaxy A Units – Report

Earlier today, we revealed that Samsung has set its shipment goals for the Galaxy S8, and a new report reveals the goals for two smartphone lines, the mid-range Galaxy A series and the entry-level Galaxy J line.

According to The Investor, Samsung has set the shipment goal for the Galaxy A at 20 million, while 100 million Galaxy J devices are expected to ship this year.

Samsung announced the Galaxy A (2017) line early last week, being some of the first devices to be unveiled at the start of the new year. The Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 2017 edition come with improved design and waterproof capabilities, a first in this line of smartphones. They also feature fingerprint scanners embedded in the physical home button, full HD AMOLED displays and USB Type-C ports.
