Why Half an Onion Would Take on Trump on Twitter

It is only a few days old, but this Twitter account aims to get more followers than the brand new American President, Donald Trump. The catch is that the account is that of a half onion in a Ziploc bag.

Gaining fame on Twitter can be quite difficult. You need to tweet at the right time, get endorsed by celebrities, tweet about trending topics, update regularly and often and so on and so forth. It also takes a lot of time.

The @HalfOnionInABag account was created on January 20, the same day that Trump became president and it wants to eventually get more followers than the Donald. That is quite a task since Trump’s Twitter account has 21.8 million followers. He also has 14.3 million followers on the official @POTUS account where he retweets his own private account for obvious reasons.
