Which OS for Lenovo T14s (AMD) with WWAN

Hi, folks,

I will get my first Lenovo T14s (AMD) with 32gb Ram and WWAN in the next days.

At the moment I am thinking about which operating system would be the right one. Ubuntu 20.04 would have been the most obvious one to start with, but now I heard about Pop!_OS and PureOS.

It would be important to me that something like WWAN preferably works out-of-the-box and especially that the OS is optimized for battery life or can be optimized easily. Furthermore I will work in a 4 monitor setup with the resolution 1920x1200 and 1920x1080. I would find Wayland quite practical there...

Which operating system would you advise me to use? Or what will I have to install?

• WWAN
• Automatically switch WWAN and Wlan, Wlan first
• Touchpad
• Keyboard special keys
• Camera and microphone
• Fan control
• Read out sensors (temperature, fan speed)
• different monitor sizes
