📚 Microsoft Turns to Questionable Tactics to Convince Users to Try Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge is Redmond’s new browser for Windows and macOS, and Microsoft itself really wants users to give this application a try. And while the company has been criticized for its aggressive push that included the automatic download on Windows 10, it looks like this hasn’t convinced the Edge team to embrace a friendlier approach. More recently, users have come across more aggressive popups that show up when searching the web on Bing, even if they were already using Microsoft Edge. As weird as that may sound, Microsoft Edge download prompts are displayed when searching for Chrome or Firefox on Bing even when using Edge itself.
