Apple’s “Get A Mac” commercials were quite popular in the 2000s, the entertaining lines and the dialogue between the two actors were aimed at convincing consumers to pick a Mac over a PC. Now, actor Justin Long was hired to take part in a new series of commercials for Huawei devices.
In one of the videos, Justin Long interviews for a director position in a new ad for Huawei’s Mate 9. The video praises the Mate 9’s powerful battery that can go two days without needing a charge, as well as its advanced camera capabilities.
It also showcases Amazon’s Alexa AI virtual assistant, incorporated in Huawei’s Mate 9. The second ad features Huawei’s MateBook auditioning for a part in a new production, while the Mate 9 and Justin Long watch the notebook’s performance.
