I accidentally deleted the files by using rm command. How do I recover these deleted files?

Initially, I attempted to remove these files containing .dlc in the working current folder called Downloads. Instead, I deleted the rest of the remaining files by executing the mistyped command: macho@hercules:~/Downloads$rm * ..dlc (i ended typing two periods). I didn't think this execution would be valid.

My biggest regret was not including -i (interactive) as an option. How do I recover these vanished files?
