Remember to support the projects you believe in, if you can.

I’m sure many of you don’t need this but I see a lot of new users in this community so here’s another reminder for them.

If you have the financial security to afford a couple dollars per month, consider donating to your favorite projects (especially those with low funding).

I don’t make a lot of money so I donate an affordable $10/month currently split between bcachfs and Slackware’s BDFL. Small individual contributions may not make much impact on their own but I like to think it creates motivation for progress.

PS I don’t frequently visit this sub so let me know if this is an inappropriate post. 16 years on Linux but I do not engage in the online communities.
