WB Games Montreal isn't the primary studio behind the Batman Arkham series (that would be Rocksteady Games), but it was the main studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins in 2013. So even though Gotham Knights wasn't teased as connected to the Arkham universe, you can see why there were some questions as to whether it actually was.
