Samsung Galaxy S8 to Have the Same Battery Capacity as the S7 and Note 7

Samsung is believed to feature the same battery capacity on the Galaxy S8, as on the two previous flagships, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7. The Investor reported that Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus will come with 3,000mAh and 3,500mAh batteries.

The information should be taken with a grain of salt, but these two battery capacities are quite plausible considering that the Galaxy S8 will be about the same size as the Galaxy S7, only the display will be larger.

“After completing a rage of tests, Samsung made a final decision to deploy the battery capacity for the two S8 variants,” a Samsung official said.
