So as it getting harder and harder to beat scensorshipment, trackers and more.
An random 12 year old will explain to you a few tricks in how to take some privacy back and put on that "Internet condom" as I like to call it.
So if you don't know a lot about computers the obvious step will be to get an VPN "Any youtuber said I should use (example VPN company)! So I'm safe." Well kinda. Just an friendly reminder VPNS are just an tunnel that changes your IP that websites can see. Plus they mostly also log you.
Than TOR comes in handy! Again if you don't know a lot about computers: The FBI won't come knocking at your door when you use TOR. Except when you go on the dark web, they might keep an eye out on you.
But if you really want to take privacy an step further you can use: Linux!
Linux is an free and open source operating system and some devopers made something called: Tails. Its made for privacy. It runs everything through the tor network and runs of an usb stick.
If you have an 64 bit system you can follow these instructions to use it.
Go to Tails.boum.org
Go to get Tails, click on For DVDs and install the iso file. Than download etcher or Rufus (I'd recommend Rufus) and download that too. Open Rufus and select the usb stick you want (it needs to have 8gbs or more, also an faster usb is feccomend) to install Tails on, than select the iso file, than name the drive whatever you want and hit start. (THIS WILL PERMANENTLY DELETE EVERYTHING ON THE DRIVE)
Than when it's done restart your pc and when it's restarting smash all the F keys on your keyboard, esc or delete. One of these keys will open the boot menu, from there select your usb stick in the boot section (don't change any settings unless you know what you're doing!) Than Tails will boot automatically. And you're good to go! It'll pre install with a lot of programs that are very useful (and free :) )
That's it for this tutorial! Hope it helped :).
