rsnapshot - Only weekly and monthly retention

I'm trying to get my head around the new retain interval for rsnapshot (alpha, beta, gamma, delta).

If I want to have only weekly and monthly backups (4 and 3 copies respectively), I'm guessing that I could just use alpha and beta at a longer interval right? So something like:

/etc/rsnapshot.conf retain alpha 4 retain beta 3

crontab 0 3 * * 1 root /usr/bin/rsnapshot alpha 0 2 1 * * root /usr/bin/rsnapshot beta
