GoPro gpmf-parser 1.5 GPMF_Decompress divide by zero

A vulnerability was found in GoPro gpmf-parser 1.5. It has been classified as problematic. Affected is the function GPMF_Decompress. Applying a patch is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at github.com.
