If Software Center or what the distro is using to distribute Apps/Programs had a way to donate to Devs like AppCenter on eOS we would have a lot more and better apps for sure!

I still don't understand why this is not available everywhere. eOS is proof that people would put in a little more work and thought when they have a way to get some cash for their time.

Now you need to dig on Github pages or other places to support someone's work.

We very often take these people for granted. We focus on the OS creators and they get a lot of recognition. But OS without Apps or programs is basically unusable for 99% of the people.

But everything should have a basic "0" price just like eOS works and then if you want to donate to change to the amount you would like to donate. This way we won't have another Windows or MacOS but people that can spare a couple $ can buy a beer to their favorite app creator.
