Annoying crackling sound with pipewire.

Hey, I have recently upgraded to pipewire and experience this annoying crackling sound. It can only bea heard for like .1 second every time directly before a program starts playing sound. I suspect this is more of an alsa issue than pipewire.

My setup: void linux, starting pipewire with runit during logging into bspwm. I don't have pulse installed and I don't explicitly call alsa during launch.

Any idea what causes this sound and how to get rid of it?
