ok lets get this straight. Say I want to have a separate home and root directory. Both encrypted.
I can
a) create a boot partition, swap partition, root partition encrypted on its own LVM and a home partition encrypted on its own LVM
or
b) create a boot partition and a second partition that is encrypted as whole running on LVM. And inside of it have: root, home, swap.
right?
What are the benefits and downsides to each? Which would you personally choose?
