๐ Get a 3d model out of a DXF file

Hey guys, I don't know if this is kind of a odd question (Well maybe the reason is). I have an online architect tool which lets me do floor plans in a quite good way. Also I might be abusing it a bit, because I want to create a castle map for my Pen&Paper campaign.
I realized it lets me export it as an DXF file, which can be used for 3d modeling, so I thought it may be cool to visualize the castle even in the right properties.
But I think I'm running out of programs which could work for it. FreeCOD was the only one that directly imported it, but than it was really much work to get a 3d model out of it. So that won't work.
Do you guys maybe have some COD or other programs coming to your mind which could work for my case? I mean it should work for my little hobby usage of it and I'm willing to put some time in it. But giving properties for every wall would be to much (like in FreeCOD).
Thanks in advance
(And I a btw question: Is A question like this suitable for this subreddit or does it belong in /linuxquestions? If yes I will delete it here and put it up there)
