A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Microsoft Windows 7 up to XP (Operating System). This vulnerability affects an unknown functionality of the file afd.sys of the component Ancillary Function Driver. Applying the patch MS13-093 is able to eliminate this problem. The bugfix is ready for download at technet.microsoft.com. A possible mitigation has been published immediately after the disclosure of the vulnerability.
