Alder Lake, it's weird core configuration, and Linux

I'm wondering, as I have 64GB of ddr4 laying around, if I should not plan on getting Alder lake because of issues with scheduling or w/e due to the big and little cores. I'm guessing that, because it works on various ARM CPUs that have this setup, that it won't matter much, and that any development needed is done, or will be done by the time of release. I don't use windows much, so I don't really care if that doesn't work well at launch much, but I do plan on gaming with Linux.
