๐ Zfs appears to have better compression than Btrfs (Nixos)

I have enabled zstd compression on both systems, identical configuration file,
zfs = 3.8gb and btrfs = 7.8 both at default compression levels
I have verified both are compressing... Maybe I did something wrong?
โ
ZFS pool as:
zpool create \ -o ashift=12 \ -O mountpoint=none \ -O relatime=on \ -O normalization=formD \ -O encryption=aes-256-gcm \ -O keyformat=passphrase \ -O keylocation=prompt \ -O acltype=posixacl \ -O xattr=sa \ -O compression=zstd \ -R /mnt tank /dev/sdx2
Btrfs set up with options: compress-force=zstd,noatime
