Microsoft reports 13% increase in Windows and Surface revenue

Microsoft's earnings report is out for the third quarter of the 2022 fiscal year, and it looks to be another good result for the company, which reported $49.4 billion in revenue, an increase of 18 percent year over year.

Specifically, Microsoft's "More Personal Computing" organization reported overall revenue of $14.5 billion, an 11 percent increase year over year. Surface and Windows also met expectations, with Surface reporting a 13 percent increase, and Windows OEM reporting an 11 percent increase.
