I've been considering making a switch from Linux Mint, which i've been using exclusively for the last four years, to Fedora, and was wanting some input on what i should expect, any downsides i should know about, and what people generally think of Fedora. The primary reason for wanting to switch over to Fedora has to do with how out of date a lot of packages tend to be on Linux Mint, and while i can build most of the packages i want myself, i tend to find installing packages through building to be a bit messy and difficult to keep track of. Any input though would be greatly appreciated.
