What Distros Work Well In Running VM's In Desktop Environment?

I want to run multiple Win10 VMs to compartmentalize tasks and some will be simultaneously used. It would be necessary for "hardware pass-through" of the GPU. I didn't intend on running it on server software but I am willing to experiment with any ideas as this is a fresh system build with a high core count CPU for multitasking

I am familiar with VMware and Virtual Box. Difficulty is of no concern!
