So I recently earned $500 of Newegg Store Credit through a local hackathon and I need your help on how I can spend it.
Since I already have a main PC built and running, I was thinking of either building or buying a second computer/laptop using the money and maybe a bit of my own. The computer wouldn't necessarily be a daily driver but would be a perfect programming and 3D design setup for my basement, most likely running Windows on a VM for Fusion 360 in the background.
I'm already fairly experienced with Linux systems and now regularly use PeppermintOS on a hijacked Chromebook, but I'm thinking of using Ubuntu rather than something like Arch since I'm thinking of trying out ROS on an old Raspberry Pi and controlling it through the computer.
So, in your opinion, what Linux PC setup would be the best for under $500?
