Hi all. I’ll undoubtedly get some “comptia blows” or “certs suck! Get work experience instead!” responses but does anyone have any insight they can share? After 5 years in helpdesk i have finally landed a sysadmin role and intend to work with a little linux down the road. Some people tell me just go for rhcsa but wouldn’t the linux+ be a great initial grounding in linux to start? Also, this of course would recertify my comptia certs, (my company requires an active sec+).
