Camera access is turned off but still applications are able to access my camera. How is that possible?

So hii everyone!!

I'm currently using Fedora workstation. In settings>privacy, i disabled both camera and microphone access but telegram, default camera app, brave talk, literally all apps able to access my camera and microphone and while on video calls, others can see my face and listen to me even tho I didn't give those applications to access my camera and microphone. How is this possible?

Am I missing something? Can someone please explain to me why do they still have access to my camera and microphone?

Does this happen to you all or is it just for me?

I'm on latest version of Fedora workstation btw.
