Microsoft Announces the New Surface Laptop Go 2

Microsoft has recently announced the new Surface Laptop Go 2, which is essentially an upgrade to the original 2020 model, obviously focused almost entirely on upgrades under the hood.

Already available for preorder, the new Surface Laptop Go comes with upgraded specs, so it can be equipped with the new 11th gen Intel Core i5-1135G7, which replaces the 10th gen Intel Core i5.

At the same time, Microsoft also offers 128GB of storage, as well as a new version that comes with 16GB of RAM, therefore making the Surface Laptop Go 2 a more powerful device. The base configuration still comes with 4GB of RAM though.

The device starts at $599 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, but the base version doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor. The top-of-the-range configuration sports 16GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a fingerprint sensor, and all the other bells and whistles, though it costs $1,099.
