Samsung Quietly Removes UFS 2.1 Storage Mention from Galaxy S8 Listing

A while ago, some Huawei P10 users noticed that their smartphones didn’t ship with the UFS 2.1 storage, as the company previously advertised. Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu has since apologized for the way the whole matter was handled and announced a series of measures.

But it seems that Huawei isn’t the only smartphone maker to be involved in such a matter. Some owners of Galaxy S8 smartphones noticed that the devices didn’t feature UFS 2.1 storage, but instead the inferior UFS 2.0, according to a post on XDA developers forum.
