Microsoft has confirmed that three different Dell models encounter a problem that prevents them from booting to the desktop after installing the Creators Update and trying to wake from sleep.
The models in question are the Alienware 17 R4, the Precision M7710, and the Precision M6800, according to Microsoft, though some other laptops might be impacted as well.

The software giant says that a forced reboot is needed to return to a working state, but the bug will be experienced again when trying to wake from sleep at a later time.
