Windows 10 Cumulative Updates KB4016871, KB4019472, and KB4019473 Released

It’s Patch Tuesday, so Microsoft rolled out new cumulative updates for Windows 10, this time with the focus on security fixes.

The new cumulative updates are KB4016871 (1703), KB4019472 (1607), KB4019473 (1511), KB4019474 (RTM) for each Windows version.

Since they land on Patch Tuesday, it’s twice more important to install them, not only because they bring Windows 10 systems fully up to date, but they also include security fixes that address known vulnerabilities in the operating system and in Microsoft’s software.

Cumulative updates require a PC reboot once installed, so make sure you save all the work before starting deployment.

End of servicing for original Windows 10

One very important thing that users should have in mind today is that this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle marks the end of the original Windows 10 version that Microsoft shipped in July 2015.
