What low key UX improvements would you like to see in linux desktop environments?

There are many subtle peculiarities like double clicking the title bar to maximize or shift+arrow keys to select text that you pick up over the years and take for granted. but all those little features once were implemented for the first time. so did we already explore all possibilities or are there more nifty tricks that could be added to the standard repertoire? what would be your favorite ideas?

edit: i think this could also be a nice opportunity to raise awareness to some those little helpers if you came across one that is not widely known.
