Samsung to Showcase World's First Stretchable OLED Display at SID 2017

The Society for Information Display will be hosting its annual event in Los Angeles on May 23 and until May 25. During the event, Samsung’s Display division is said to showcase the world’s first stretchable display.

Samsung stated that the stretchable OLED display is unique and has the capacity to bend in both directions, while it’s also different from existing flexible displays, since they can bend in only one direction, according to local reports.

Moreover, industry experts say that the stretchable display requires a more complicated technology compared to existing displays in the market, and it’s considered the top product in the market of flexible technology.
