Cyberpunk 2077 Gets Phantom Liberty Expansion in 2023, New Patch Released

CD Projekt RED has just taken the wraps off its first expansion for Cyberpunk 2077. Called Phantom Liberty, the new piece of content is scheduled for release in 2023 and will have Keanu Reeves reprising his role as the rebel Johnny Silverhand.

A 1-minute teaser trailer showcases some of the locations and characters that we’ll meet in the upcoming expansion, but not much else has been revealed. Instead, CD Projekt RED revealed the contents of the newly released Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.6, which brings quite a lot of improvements and fixes.

The most important changes coming to Cyberpunk 2077 today are transmog, 11 new weapons and cross-progression. Additionally, the game is getting some Cyberpunk: Edgerunners content in the form of secrets related to the anime series set to debut on Netflix on September 13, as well as new equipment and new Photo Mode features.
