Injustice 2 Review (PS4)

I have a special place in my heart for superhero movies, so when Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios announced they will be making a game based on the DC Comics universe, I was very excited.

Although it might seem that Injustice: Gods Among Us follows the same formula as Mortal Kombat, the game feels and plays different. Having just finished Injustice 2, I can definitely say that NetherRealm have nailed it again by building on the core gameplay mechanics of the predecessor and adding new ones.

But it's not just the updated combat system that makes Injustice 2 so much better than the predecessor, the story is compelling as well. Injustices 2 picks up five years after Superman's defeat, as Batman and his partners try to put the world back together.
