Google to Release First Official Android O Update for Pixel Phones in August

Google already released two Android O builds for a number of Pixel and Nexus smartphones, but it seems that the final version of the new mobile operating system will arrive later this summer, according to David Ruddock.

Google usually releases new Android versions in the fall, but it seems that the tech giant plans on launching the new version earlier this year. The official Android O update for Pixel smartphones will arrive in the first or second weeks of August.

The update will apparently be pushed over the air (OTA) and will arrive to Pixel and Nexus smartphones around the same time in August.
