I was wondering why I should use a rolling release distro? I really like the idea of going through every little step during installation and have everything just how I want it to be. But I do not like to idea of always have the "latest and greatest" versions of my applications.

I want to have a stable system as a daily driver where I do not have to struggle with os issues every day.

Am I missing something? What's the main advantage of rolling releases for a daily driver?
