I tried switching to Wayland a while back during the covid lockdowns, and while I loved how smooth it was, some issues prevented me from sticking with it. Mainly the inability to present my screen on Google Meet conversations on Chromium and being unable to use color pickers. Two things I do very frequently. Have those been fixed?
I am considering switching again eventually, so what is the state of Wayland currently? Is the experience currently on par with X11 or are there problems average users will eventually face if they switch now?
What still needs to be fixed/polished on Wayland before the user experience for most people is better than X11's?
