becoming a linux expert

How does one make the step from "arch power user" to a linux expert?

Maybe certificates, contributing, or administrating servers? I already do administrate a bunch of arch and proxmox servers and I've been using arch on desktop since about a year, contributing code sounds very fun, I'm especially interested in low level development. Certificates bore the hell out of me though.

By the way, I don't want to land a job at a shitty place like Microsoft or Google, I just want to be useful.
