Samsung Leaks Galaxy S8 Active on Its Official Website

Samsung is expected to take the wraps off the new Galaxy S8 Active sometime in the coming weeks, but the company has so far been tight-lipped on everything related to this device.

And yet, it looks like the South Koreans have actually leaked the very first details about this new model on their own website, with a document confirming that the new model would be called Samsung Galaxy S8 Active and would be codenamed G892A.

This aligns with the previous-generation Active model, which was launched as part of the Samsung Galaxy S7 lineup and which was model number G891A.

Technical details, however, are not available for the time being, though it’s not hard to figure out what the new Active model is all about.
